Would you like to learn more about the basic and important functions of your Apple iPhone? This is a free class offered by the National Digital Equity Center to help you feel comfortable and safe using your iPhone. This class is taught live via zoom and will be held over 3 one-hour sessions at the Appleton Library. The classes will be held from 1:30-2:30PM starting Tuesday, October 15 and continue at the same time on October 16 and 17. You do need to register for this class, but there is no cost to attend. The Book Club's October book selection is Fire Exit by Morgan Talty. Maine Public's "Virtual Book Club" will stream on the Maine Public's YouTube and Facebook page on Wednesday, October 9 at 7pm. Our Appleton Library Book Club meeting for that book will be at the library on Tuesday, October 29 at 10:00am. Art Exhibits: Daily, during Open Library Hours.
Stroll through the front foyer and the Main Library to admire our revolving-displays, featuring local artists and crafters. Past exhibits have featured oil, acrylic and water-color paintings, sculpture, hooked rugs, quilts, and photography. If you are interested in having your work exhibited, please contact the Library.
